How to Make Homemade Chimichurri

How to Make It

  1. Finely chop 1 cup fresh parsley, ¼ cup fresh cilantro, and 3–4 garlic cloves.

  2. Transfer to a bowl and add ½ cup extra virgin olive oil, 2 tbsp red wine vinegar, ½ tsp sea salt, ¼ tsp red pepper flakes*, and a pinch of black pepper.

  3. Stir to combine.

  4. Taste and adjust vinegar, salt, or red pepper flakes to preference**.

  5. Let sit 10 minutes before serving to let flavors meld.
