Protein smoothie with blueberries and chia seeds

Build Your Meal

Liquid Base
1 cup unsweetened nut milk or water

Quality Protein, choose one

  • 1–1½ scoops protein powder (unflavored, vanilla or chocolate)

  • 1 scoop protein powder + ½ cup cottage cheese

  • 1 scoop protein powder + 1 cup unsweetened yogurt

Non-Starchy Veggies
1 large handful spinach or kale

Healthy Fats

  • 1 Tbsp chia or ground flax seeds

  • 1 Tbsp nut butter or 2 Tbsp raw nuts

Complex Carbs (Optional), choose one

  • ¼–½ cup frozen berries

  • ½ small banana

Make It

  1. Add the liquid to your blender first, followed by the greens, Quality Protein, and Healthy Fats. Add your Complex Carb if having one. Add 3–4 ice cubes and blend until smooth.

  2. For a thicker smoothie, use less liquid or add more ice. For a thinner smoothie, add a splash of water or nut milk.

Make It Your Own

Choose 1–3:

  • Ceylon cinnamon: ⅛ tsp

  • Ground vanilla: ⅛ tsp

  • Raw cacao: 1 Tbsp

  • Maca: ½ tsp

  • Fresh ginger: 1 tsp

  • Turmeric: ¼ tsp

  • Collagen: 1 scoop

  • Creatine: 5g

  • Coffee or matcha: 1 shot espresso or 1 tsp matcha

  • Herbs: fresh basil, mint

  • Sweeter: a few drops of pure monk fruit or stevia leaf extract
