Build Your Meal

Complex Carbs
½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats

Liquid Base
1 cup unsweetened nut milk or water

Quality Protein, choose one

  • 1–1½ scoops protein powder (unflavored, vanilla or chocolate)

  • 1 scoop protein powder + ½ cup unsweetened Greek yogurt

  • 1 scoop protein powder + ½ cup cottage cheese

Healthy Fats

  • 1 Tbsp chia or ground flax seeds

  • Plus choose one: 1 Tbsp unsweetened nut butter OR 2 Tbsp chopped nuts or seeds

Make It

Add the oats and liquid to a small saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until creamy.

Remove from the heat and let sit for 1 minute. Stir in your Quality Protein until smooth. Add a splash of nut milk if the oatmeal gets too thick.

Stir in the chia or flax, then top with your nut butter, nuts, or seeds.

Make It Your Own

  • Berries: ¼ cup fresh or frozen

  • Ceylon cinnamon: ⅛ tsp

  • Vanilla extract: ¼ tsp

  • Raw cacao: 1 Tbsp

  • Cacao nibs or unsweetened coconut flakes: 1 Tbsp

  • Sweeter: a few drops of pure monk fruit or stevia leaf extract

Notes

  • Use organic old-fashioned rolled oats. Choose certified gluten-free oats if needed.

  • Add protein powder after cooking for a smoother texture.

  • Choose an unsweetened nut milk (no oats). Califia, Malk, and Elmhurst are easy options.

  • Recommended protein powders.
